Aro Gar

Aro is a Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist tradition whose unusual characteristics make it singularly appropriate for many Westerners. Aro is principally concerned with transforming our experience of everyday being, rather than achieving an esoteric or spiritualised mode of existence. Our aim is to engender cheerful courage, perceptive consideration, sincere determination, natural gallantry, graciousness, creativity, and spaciousness.

Chappaqua Summer Scholarship Program

The Chappaqua Summer Scholarship Program (CSSP) is a unique three-year summer academic enrichment program for college-bound New York City high school students. For the last forty-one summers, 20 students have come to Chappaqua, NY during the week, returning home on the weekends; attend challenging classes, participate in interesting recreational and cultural activities in the afternoon and live with local families.

Eat So They Can

Eat So They Can is an international fundraiser that invites citizens of the world to participate in what is collectively one huge dinner party; where something as simple as sharing a meal with friends can help stop child poverty. We are seeking hosts to hold events on October 17-18, 2009. Will you Eat So They Can?
